Sponsored by Oriflame India and in association with PCJ, for the first time in the city The Bhubaneswar Style Week, took place at Hotel Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar on Sunday (25th September) evening.
Giving the priority to city’s fashion with some eye-catching styles and trends, many national and international models did the catwalk with wearing the designs of five internationally commended designers for the show.
The fashion show started with one of the top designers Dolly Parekh’s collections. Her collection was named as “Krishna Leela” in which she was tried to give a style touch with the traditional famous Pattachitra of Odisha blended with zari artworks on fabrics. Both western and Indian outfits like sarees, kurtis, were beautifully shown with this age old Pattachitra artwork of Odisha.
Transgender Activist Lakshmi Narayan Tripathy was the showstopper wearing a beautiful white tussar saree with Sri Krishna’s pattachhitra. Big Boss fame Vivek Mishra and the famous Bollywood actress Zoya Afroz also showcased the designs of various designers and walked on ramp.
