Aamir Khan’s biggest blockbuster film “Dangal” will be aired for the television audience to celebrate Independence Day on August 15, with an audio description that will help the visually impaired audience to understand and enjoy the film.
It will also be aired with subtitles so that the hearing impaired audience can understand the film, which will be aired on Zee Cinema.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal starred Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Suhani Bhatnagar and Zaira Wasim. The film is based on the real life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters.

We hope that the premiere of Dangal reaches out to the maximum number of visually and hearing impaired audiences in India” said Punit Misra, CEO Domestic Broadcast Business, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited.
Along with Delhi, the preview is also being held in Lucknow, Mumbai, Indore and Chandigarh.
A 20-minute special screening of the film was held at the Institution for Blind on Wednesday to give a sneak peek of the film.
