Actress Shweta Tripathi is going to try her luck in film production. Shweta said, “It’s never too early to start doing something that excites you. I feel now is a great time to explore, expand and grow.”
Shweta started her career in the Hindi film industry by working as a debutante in the film Masaan in 2015. She was then featured in the film Haraamkhor opposite of popular Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
When asked about her choice to work for the commercial films, she said, “I would love to do a commercial film. But my hero is the script. That has to woe me.”
Shweta is featured in a film Zoo which has been shot on a phone. Zoo, directed by Shlok Sharma, is India’s first iPhone film. The film was premiered at the Busan International Film Festival
Shweta Tripathi will also be seen as bride-to-be in one of the episodes in the web series Made In Heaven which is directed by Zoya Akhtar. It’s a 10 episode series about the rivalry between the two wedding firms. The series will be shot in Benaras.
