Five Girls From Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Selected For Paris World Games

Five girls from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Sumitra Nayak, Rajani Sabar, Basanti Pangi, Liza Sardar and Soni Motangi are selected for “Indian Under 18 Girls Rugby Team” to represent India in the Paris World Games-2017 commencing on July 7. All of them are students of +3, 1st year Arts of KISS.

Except Soni Motangi, the other four girls had played for India in the Asian U-18 Rugby Sevens held in UAE and had bagged a bronze.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KISS and KIIT, congratulated the girls on being selected to represent the country in the world event and wished them  the very best.

Apart from rugby, the World Games will see competitions in volleyball, football, badminton, basketball and handball.
