It Is A Premature Time To Analyze Film’s Box Office Collection – Akshaye Khanna

Actor Akshaye Khanna, whose great comeback murder-mystery Ittefaq opened with exciting reviews but slow collection at box office. However, the actor states that it is a premature time to analyze film’s box office collection.

.“The movie just released (3 November). But the initial response that I got has been positive… so it is a premature time to analyze film’s box office collection and we will analyze the film later,” said Akshaye Khanna at the press meet which was held after the release of the movie.

Being a remake of the 1969 movie, Ittefaq is produced by three different, leading productions houses – Dharma Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment, and B.R. Studios.

Speaking about the camaraderie of producers, Akshaye Khanna said, “There were no disagreements among the producers. Sometimes there are fights, but nothing like that happened in the case of this film. Everything went smoothly. Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar [producers] are good friends.”

Akshaye also favoured the decision of less promotion for the films, as the audience make up their mind with the first promo. “First audiences watch the promo of the film, they make up their mind whether they want to watch the film or not.

Akshaye Khanna had taken a long break from films before returning with Mom starring Sridevi. He, now, wants to do more films.

“I will do more films now. I have received some offers and will announce my next project soon,” he said.
